This is a blend of the four red varieties growing on our hill. Included are Pinot noir, Sagrantino, Sangiovese, and Cabernet franc. First blended with the 2021 wines, the percentage used of each grape varies depending on the wine character.
The grapes are fermented separately and aged for a year. Follows tasting with blending in a desired proportion and aging for an additional year and a half. Aging is done in neutral barrels.
